THE ARTIST
Dmitry Savchenko is an internationally recognized fine art photographer and visual artist whose work spans more than 25 years of continuous creative practice. Born on October 13, 1970 in the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR),
Savchenko has created over 1,000 original works. Rare, numbered, hand-signed limited edition photographs that document the beauty, history, and cultural heritage of the world's great cities, people and civilizations.
Over the course of his career, Savchenko has created artistic portraits for members of royal families and aristocratic houses, heads of state and political leaders, world-renowned stars of ballet and opera, celebrated Hollywood and internationally acclaimed film actors and Olympic champions, building one of the most extraordinary portrait archives in contemporary fine art photography. His photographs have been exhibited at 46 major international exhibitions across Europe, North America and beyond, from national museums in Warsaw, famous auction houses in Paris to exhibitions and auctions in Oakridge Auction Gallery, METROPOLITAN WASHINGTON DC, USA Oakridge Auction Gallery, from exhibition in the largest cinema in Europe in Le Grand Rex Paris
and presentation of Dmitry Savchenko's artworks in aristocratic ballrooms in Stockholm with Swedish nobility to his notable exhibition in Los Angeles, with the members of Royal Families and Hollywood celebrities. His works are held in the permanent collections of five museums across four countries and in the private collections of Royal and Princely Families of Europe. A defining dimension of Savchenko's career is his long-standing collaboration with the greatest opera and ballet institutions in the world.
